RP & AD – BARC, AMPI, AMPI-WC, P.D.Hinduja National Hospital and Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital are jointly organising workshop on Physics Of Stereotactic Radiosurgery & Small Field Dosimetry on 11th & 12th JANUARY’ 2019.
Advances in the applications, technologies and methodologies of brain Radio-surgery continue to evolve rapidly, creating a need for continual learning. This workshop is designed to disseminate new scientific findings and technical innovations and expand basic knowledge relevant to clinical practice of frame based and frame less brain radiosurgery and get acquainted with new concepts in small field dosimetry associated with radio-surgery .
The educational elements of this program is targeted at medical physicist involved in Radio surgery. Attendees will receive state-of-theart practice information relating to QA of equipment’s, planning and delivery radiation treatment. Special lectures are and demonstration are arranged for small field dosimetry. The program will include
presentations on treatment planning, alternative fractionation, emerging technologies, and small field physics. These topics are presented in a combination of panel discussions. This combination provides complementary coverage of a broad range of topics relevant to frame based, frame less Radio surgery and QA associated with it.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This educational meeting is designed to meet the interest of Medical Physicists involved in the field Radio surgery program and who are in process to start Radio surgery programme.
