As you know, diagnostic X-ray equipment are being operated by varied medical professionals and allied staff. Most of the operating personnel are not aware about the use of protection devices such as protective barriers, lead aprons which safeguards them to a large extent from harmful effect of radiation. To ensure that the operating personnel are working in a safe manner, they need to use personnel monitoring device (TLD Badge).
Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, India (AERB) has released short video clips (each one is about 1 minute duration) to ensure safety of operating personnel and to minimize false reporting of false information/excessive exposure.
