National Symposium on Recent Trends in Medical Physics – 2018 (NSRTMP-2018) is being organised by Department of Medical Physics, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
This Symposium is scheduled to take place between August 30-31, 2018 at Venue : Sir C.V. Raman Auditorium, Department of Physics – Medical Physics, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641 046, Tamil Nadu.
No Registration fee for attending the symposium Limited Accommodation is available on payment basis based on the
room availability in the University Guest house on first come first serve basis. Hotel accommodation can also be arranged upon request on payment basis.
Theme of the Symposium
The DST-PURSE Phase II sponsored symposium (NSRTMP-2018) envisioned to create awareness on the recent Scientific developments and technological advances in the field of Medical physics and will be immensely beneficial to students in this region and primarily medical physicists working across the country. The medical physicist community’s responsibility is to assure the delivery of the prescribed radiation in imaging and radiation therapy accurately and safely for the welfare of the society. The knowledge on recent trends in the area of Medical Physics plays a vital role for satisfying needs of the society efficiently.
