Dear Colleagues,
International Workshops on Mini-Micro-Nano Dosimetry and Innovation Technologies in Radiation Oncology (MMND 2016) and Innovative Technologies in Radiation Oncology (ITRO 2016) will be held from January 26 to 31, 2016 at the Wrest Point Hotel, Hobart, Tasmania.
These workshops will be hosted by the Centre on Medical Radiation Physics in collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, USA, (ITRO Co-Chair Dr Josh Yamada), Prince of Wales Hospital, St George Cancer Care Centre and Liverpool Hospital and Ingham Institute and Sydney West Radiation Oncology Network, Australia.
The workshops are continuing series of biannual meetings bringing together outstanding international and Australian Radiation Oncologists, Medical Physicists and Radiation Scientists to discuss innovative radiation oncology physics, radiobiology , radiation detection and dosimetry technologies for QA in radiation therapy, state-of- the-art proton and heavy ion therapy and its radiobiology , space radiation and instrumentation for RBE evaluation and nanotechnologies for improvement of radiation therapy and imaging. Special feature of ITRO Workshop on 29-31 January, 2016 will be Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy.
The scope and program of previous MMND IPCT 2014 Workshops can be seen at http://mmnd-ipct.com.
I would like to invite you to submit abstract(s) to present your current research. It is an excellent opportunity for students and medical physics registrars to learn a lot from top experts in a field which not often are coming to Australia all together.
I was able to negotiate large discount for accommodation A$80/person including breakfast (shared room for 2 guests ) and A$204/room including breakfast.
On 26th September we have a special dinner on a Pacific Beach to celebrate Australia Day and 29th September is a social day (program is coming) and MMND ITRO dinner on evening. Deadline for early bird registration and abstracts submission is approaching soon.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions.
I look forward to seeing you and your colleagues at MMND ITRO 2016 and develop further our collaboration.
Yours sincerely,
Anatoly B. Rozenfeld, PhD
