AMPI Meritorious Physicist Award


AMPI Meritorious Physicist Award instituted in 1999 jointly by Dr M.R Raju and Shri P.S Vishvanathan is to be given to an Indian Medical Physicist who is doing commendable job with the limited resources in cancer hospital located in rural area. The award carries cash prize of INR 20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) and a certificate. Eligible candidates may send their application to Secretary, AMPI, along with a write up which describes and supports his candidature for the Award. Recommendation of two referees (Senior Medical Physicist /Radiation Oncologist / Head of the Institution etc.) who knows the work of the applicant should also be submitted along with the application. The application for this Award should reach the Secretary, AMPI on or before 15th January, 2021.

AMPI Dr. M.S Agarwal Young Investigator Award


The Award was instituted in 2005 to encourage young medical physicists who is doing commendable job in research and development work. It carries cash prize of INR 20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) and a certificate given to eligible AMPI life member who is less than 35 years of age and has few good quality publications in referred journals. Applicants should provide complete personal and academic details indicating AMPI Life Membership Number and photocopies of all publications. Eligible candidates may send their application to the Secretary, AMPI, on or before 15th January, 2021.
