The organizing committee of the AMPICON 2018 invites you to participate in the 9th Annual National Conference of Association of Medical Physicists of India (AMPICON 2018), which is being organised by the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry chapter of AMPI (Association of Medical Physicists of India) at Chennai City – “The Detroit of Asia” from 2nd to 4th November 2018.
Chennai is located on the coast of the Bay of Bengal and it is a hub of medical tourism.Its economy has a broad industrial base of automobile industries, IT park and Hardware manufacturing, it is a center for higher education of Medical, Engineering, Technology and Allied Health sciences and Research activities. Chennai has tropical climate, but pleasant during the month of November and it is a season of northeast monsoon. Welcome all to have fruitful, memorable and pleasant stay at Chennai.
The vast and rapid technology development and advancement in the health care management of cancer patients with application of radiation for diagnostic and therapeutics have changed the concept, procedure and practice of radiation dosimetry and quality assurance within the Medical Physics discipline. The conference is planned to discuss and adopt the new concepts of radiation dosimetry with theme of “Medical Physics- Redefining Dosimetry”
The conference is aimed to attract the participants from medical academic, treatment institutions, research organization, industries involved in the medical product development, dosimetry product development looking for discussion, solution and market place for product.
